The Crewsheet Selection screen is the first area of Laborview the user views upon login. The date defaults to the current system date, yet allows the user to review previous or future dates. The selection folder serves as the “filter” to narrow down the number of records employees retrieved. Security is built into this “filter”. This security feature allows the users to access only his/her approved organization. Attempting to retrieve data employees outside the approved organizational access area returns a security violation error. The supervisor enters the date desired and fields to filter by. The Selection screen allows the viewing of records according to: Organization - retrieves all employees assigned to the specified organization group (department) . The values can be auto-populated upon login based on a user's default organization setup. All - retrieves all employees of which the user has access. Access levels can be limited to specific organization level(s) or the entire database of employee information. Employee - retrieves only the employee specified in the employee fields. Also, the supervisor can view based on everyone in his home department group or everyone that is working in his department group that day.

Laborview users spend approximately 90% of their time in the Group Timesheet screen. Normally, a supervisor using this screen is able to edit their department's group's daily time and attendance records in five to ten minutes. This area allows the users to record exceptions such as overtime, approved late arrival/early departures, approved absences, as well as review punches from the clock. The Group Timesheet displays employees Scheduled and Actual punches recorded in Laborview. Flags are displayed when an exception to the schedule has occurred. For example, a Yellow Flag indicates an exception, while a Red Flag indicates that the exception is not payable and must be reviewed and a Blue Flag indicating a balance violation.
