One component of the PROVECT Laborview system is the input device for time and attendance information. With PROVECT, you have the ability to use various sources to input your time and attendance, schedule, and employee information. Some of those devices are:
Internet/Intranet Access
Laborview provides access to the system via the internet using popular web browsers and intranet using your existing network. Managers can review/edit time transactions, enter notes, enter/change job codes, and all other authorized transactions. Employees can view personal information such as schedule, balance accruals, regular/overtime worked, and any other information they are authorized to access. Off site employees can also enter/manage their time using Laborview Personal via the internet.
Badge Reader
We are a Value Added Reseller (VAR) for barcode or magnetic stripe swiping systems that are tightly integrated into our Laborview system. These systems use TCP/IP or RS485 communications which, in conjunction with our system, provide for immediate and continuous updates whenever an employee uses the readers.
Biometric Readers
For customers who wish to eliminate swiping card errors or improve security, we recommend a biometric reader. Using advanced finger print recognition capability, the scanning process eliminates 'buddy punches'. The reader speed is less than 2 seconds and over 4,000 prints may be stored in each reader. Enrollment (or initial finger print storage) is less than 5 seconds.
The PROVECT system is extremely flexible and easy to interface. We have the ability to interface with virtually any external time input device, such as IVR, readers, scanning systems, etc. In order for our systems to be compatible, the export from the device must be formatted (or have the ability to be formatted) in our import format.
